Okay everyone, I bought a 2001 2500 suburban last week. I went to have it inspected but the check engine light wont flash, I guess here in NC it must flash at key turn or the computer fails it as I'm told. So I figured maybe bulb was blown. Removed cluster and I assume a led must control this as the light bulbs are for other things. I do hear a rattling around when I move the cluster. SO just looking for ideas and thoughts upon the matter. Thank you.

 

Well took cluster apart and found the issue. The truck had been in a wreck in front. And 4 leds broke off the board. SO now I need to find someone to solder these back in yay me
