GF Chip? Do they work?
I'm sure the ad is real. As far as the mpg claim, caveat emptor.
Let's face it, in today's regulatory climate, do you think the car mfgs are going to leave several mpgs on the table? Then you look at the laws of physics on how much energy is in a gallon of gas and how much it takes to move a 5,000+ lb brick down the road at 70mph.
If you've got $70 to burn, give it a try but be prepared for disappointment.

Those thingys have been around for years in various shapes and forms...all looking to take your money
All this is,is a resister that plugs inline between your Intake Air Temperature Sensor and the feed wire to the ECM.
It fools the ECM to read lower ambient air temperatures than what really exist, thus the ECM adds a few degrees of timing to improve efficiency.
The problem is,when timing is added and temps are actually high, things can get damaged real quick...i/e detonation-pinging.
Now if you want to marry yourself to buying premium fuel all the time as a safeguard,go big....but where is the savings?...as well as the risk.
My advice stay away. There are hoping for a sucker everyday. It's all a numbers game.

My 2¢, not so much about MPG but an observation about gas...
Was up in Oklahoma around lake Eufaula a few weeks ago and filled up with 100% gas no ethanol...( most gas station gas is 10-20% alcohol ) I didn't see any change in mpg, but did see that power response towing our pop up camper was very noticeable (acceleration felt strong)... I have no tune but a good tank of gas seem to do wonders....but that was ~30¢ more a gallon...
