Default GM Paid Me off for my Tahoe Navigation Issue

My 2009 LTZ, Factory Sat Nav from day 1:

IF (and it's a big IF) the system would recognize "Navigation, go to, my house" it would work 100% 20 times in a row.

If (and you have to do this) shut off the truck and get out, then get back in it, it would NEVER work again! 0%! "Navigation Help" is all I got 100 times in a row, and all I could say was "Navigation, go to, hell" but clearly I was already there.

Now the system would sometimes work after sitting over night (some times) no real pattern.

I complained, complained, took to dealer 6+ times that I have notes for and invoices... dealer couldn't fix, software issue, GM had to fix. After seveal calls to GM I got no where.

I went to the BBB. www.bbb.org. Filled out some forms, worked with them (the woman I had from there was an idiot, but I managed).

I cashed my check last night for $940.00

I can finally close this case.

I paid for a feature in my Tahoe the manual says it can do, it can't. I've proven dozens of times it can't. I waited 9 F_(*ING MONTHS for a fix. This was too long and too nice of me. Next time they get 2 weeks to fix something.

So, to anyone with a sat nav out there designed then built by a 4 year old, call the BBB and get your hard earned money back.

Man that sucks. I have no idea why mine would now be fixed and yours is "unrepairable". Of course, for $940.00 I might have lived with it not working. I wonder if I can talk them out of any cash since my late build '09 came without heated washers? They discontinued them due to problems, and my '07 did get a recall performed on it but they have always worked. The '09 brochure says all LTZ's have them.

Really?! Mine does not have the heated wiper button thing... my friend's 08 pickup does...

I got the $ and am still hoping for a fix, but whatever...

Check the "weasel words" at the back of the brochure and you'll see GM can say anything they want in the brochure...and reserve the right to change, so I'm not sure you'll get any comp for no heated washers...but you can try. Let us know what happens.

Yes, I noticed when I compained to the dealer about it they diligently checked with GM and they explained how that it was an option that they discontinued,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,after carefully checking to be sure it wasn't on the build sheet for my truck.
