Default Gmvis

I have a2007 suburban LTZ I am looking at 96k on it looks and drive nice but I ran a carfax and it came back with a lemon title. Seems the first owner bought it new in 07 and returned it back in 2010 with 25k on the clock and it went to auction a Kia dealer picked
it up in Oklahoma and sold it with like 26k on clock to the second owner has had it since.

I heard that this GMVIS is GM log of the car from time it leave factory and would say what the lemon issue was? Is this a true statement and where can I get one of these ?

Thing is I am pressed for time since I found this suburban while on a business trip and need to give answer by Tuesday Nov. 4 th 2014

Thanks for the help

Default Lemon

Lemon law is first year only. I don't see how it could go back in 2010 from a 2007...

but let us know.

Keep in mind (this is an optimistic spin) that the Lemon law buy back could have be because the original owner was not satisfied with the fix results.. you however may not have an issue with what ever the unsatisfactory issue was.. i.e. a rattling sound that could not be resolved, a vibration at 66 mph, you get the idea...
If your happy with the vehicle and its not giving you problems, my advise is to not go looking to fix something that ain't broke....
But I do understand the curiosity factor

Thanks guys , I did buy the truck after checking with the GM dealer and getting a print out of the truck history. I took a chance with it and I think I will be fine since I bought it in Oklahoma and a day later drove to SW Florida almost 1500 miles. Seems thee was an electrical issue but that's as much as they know so 75k miles later I am thinking this problem has been resolved. Love the truck ride was great 20 mpg spent the weekend compounding and waxing truck is way to big for that lol
