Hi everybody, I hope someone will be able to help me. Just bought Suburban 1989, V 1500, 4wd and would like to install some pretty good 3 or 4 inches suspension lift kit. Saw on you tube that rough country is not a good choice because of its quality....? Truck will be mostly use on highway and very light off road sometimes,gravel,sand etc... do you know some quite good quality lift kits ? Thanks.

 

Why not add HD leaf springs instead? I did on my old CJ-5 Jeep. Raised it up 2.5-3 inches. Got me over lots of rock, in addition to modifying the skid-pan. Some Victor Wench work and it was ready to go.

thanks a lot, have no idea that there is some option like that , so it will be raise up around 3 inches without modifying whole suspension ? Will not do a hard off road just some mud and sand so maybe i do not need whole suspension lift kit ?
