Default Green Fluid

I own a beautiful '02 Sub' LT I recently replaced all the rotors/Disc's and pads. One of the rear calipers was sticking, so I stripped it repaired it. It was then I noticed the brake fluid was green eh!! I replaced it with new fluid. Brakes have never worked so good. Please can anybody shine a light on this?

Yes, brake fluid once it goes past its life expectancy it is prone to algae growth. Your brake fluid was far past due for a change.
