Hey guys. I had a phat billet grille and just installed a new SS Speed Grille Today. The pics arent the best of either grille. You cant use the flash because of the glare. Anyways, Let me know which one you think looks better!

Is that the one with the "bow tie" mesh?

Is it an overlay or cutout?

The Speed Grille can be used as an overlay, or a cutout. I have it as a cutout since I cut the factory honey comb off.

 

I saw one the other day on the web where the openings were the outline of a bow tie. Couldn't tell from the pics what shape your openings were.

 

Nope, just oval/round shapes!

 

I like the speed grill the best, I will be getting one with my bumper.

 

I'm gonna have to say that the Phat Grille looks better but I guess I'm kinda bias since its on its way to me. The Street Scene grille looks great too and will look even better when you get your bumper and valance grille on. Is the Bumpergonna be this weekends project and did you get the sideground effects too?

 

The bumper and the ground effects wont be for a while. Actually, I am going to wait until biggmon gets the bumper and see what he thinks. I will do the side skirts for sure a little down the road!

This weekends project is the McGaughys 2/3 lowering kit!

 

I like the new speed grille....gives a different look that not everyone on the road has.

Have you got a price on the side ground effects ? I like them, they look great on the ebay white Tahoe...

 

The ground effects, side skirts as street scene calls them are about 450 not painted. STEEEP, at least I think. I will be putting them on, some day!
