One of my bulbs in my headlight assembly shattered. How do I remove the headlight assembly from my vehicle? I unscrewed the two bolts holding the unit in place but can't seam to get it past the bumper or fender. What esle do I have to remove?

Welcome to the forum. Try searching this forum for HID installation. I think someone posted some detailed instructions and pictures for this.

Found these instructionson another site. Pretty rediculous that it's this difficult to just change a bulb.

What the hell? Why in the world did they stop using the "quick release" system they had before? That system seemed to work just fine for years...

Yeah that quick release was super easy and slick! Could change out a bulb in seconds. Oh well, I'm sure they had their reasons..just don't know what they could be.

yeah, now GM service departments make money on changing a freakin light bulb!

you probably wont see too many 2007+ Tahoes at Autozone getting bulbs.

well i know that besides my self one or two more peolpe have done this with out having to remove the enitre headlight unit. all i did when i install my hids was to lossen or completely remove the top screws of the head light the my hand wouyld fit in there to change then. it was a tight fir but it can certainly be done. therer is also like a plastic cover in one of the side that you have to remove to reach the bulb.
try it.
