Default Headlight Issues

I have a 4dr '97 Tahoe and I have a problem where the driver side headlight is extremely dim and the passenger side is extremely bright. I replaced the bulbs thinking that was the issue, but it did not change anything. I adjusted the headlight to see if it would change anything, but its still dim no matter what angle it is at.
Any ideas? I was thinking maybe its an issue with a relay, but im really not sure.

Thanks

Do you have a volt meter tocheck the differences in voltage between the left and right side?

Also unplug the light and look into the harness. Is it corroded or burnt?

same problem on 97 and it is that the lens cover is dingy. they sell a kit at the auto parts store that is said to really help clean the lens up as you have to go to the stealership to get new lenses. good luck and please post if you find the solution.

Check the ground of the side that is dim. there is probably a bad connection there causing it to back feed throught the other side.

how old are the lights themselves? isnt it true that headlights rarely burn out but just get dimmer so maybe get some new ones
