I have a 99 burb 180k main bearing went out so I will just drop another engine in it. Does it have to be a 5.7 350 or can it just be a 350 chevy engine. And does it matter if its 4x4 I have 4x4 now. Thanx for your time any suggestions helpful and appreciated

All 350's are 5.7. You'll want a Vortec 350 for sure, it's a direct swap. doesn't matter if it's out of a 4x4 or not. You may have to swap the flywheel, depending on whether the new motor was in front of a Manual or auto trans.
