Default Help!

Well I was intalling my new Navigation in my 2009 Suburban and one of the steps was to remove a grey pin on the side of the black connector in order to add the voice command wires to the connecor. Well the pin tab snapped off! It was supposed to just slide out according to the guide. Any suggestions as to how I get the pin out or if its removed some other way other than just pulling it. Thanks in advance for any responses.
