i have a 2004 suburban. just replaced the rear brake pads, rotors, and also calipers. after doing that i bled the brakes, RR LR RF LF. after that the petal was still very soft. checked for leaks in the lines and the master. no leaks. any suggestions?

I'm not sure why they needed bled... unless the pedal was mush after the new pads before the bleeding attempt.
so it won't pump up at all? I'm assuming your keeping the mastercylinder full...
I'd say you need to keep bleeding with the info given.

sorry I took so long to reply. I bled them 3 times. the first i bled them air bubbles came out but none the other 2. and yes I've kept the master full. the petal is very soft still, but the brakes work. just when I push the petal it almost touches the fire wall before it finally starts to firm up and stop the vehicle. I've changed the brakes many times on this vehicle and never had a problem till this time.

I would check the rubber lines to the caliper. they could be worn out and expanding. if you go to braided lines the pedel will definitly stiffen up. Also possibly check your brake booster located behind the master cylinder for any wear or damage.
