I bought a 1997 suburban off a guy i work with and it only has one issue I can complain about anytime there is a load put on the system the belt squeals due too excessive resistance from the alternator and due to this my volts will drop from 15ish down to 9 ive replaced alternator and the belt im about to do the tensioner i was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and knows a good fix.

 

I had a similar issue a few years ago and it turned out that the problem was the parts store sold a new belt that was a bit too long. Got the correct belt after trying everything else and the problem was fixed.
