Unhappy HELP!! battery/alternator/air-cond. issues w/2003 Tahoe

My NEW battery in my '03 Tahoe continues to drain/die. I have had the alternator and starter checked and they are both in great condition. I noticed the fan continues to run while the car is off.. ( I am assuming its the fan, the ceiling air vents in the rear of the Tahoe continues to blow air even when car is off.)

A friend of ours disconnected the a/c, removed fuses and tried some quick troubleshooting, and the fan still continued to blow air. Could this be the cause of my battery draining within a matter of a few hours?

I have to constantly disconnect my positive cable if I want the car to start when I am running errands, so I am not left stranded. PLEASE HELP!

addtl. info: this has been happening for almost 4 weeks now.. 2 weeks ago, the front a/c vents stopped working, only the defrost vents are blowing air. The read vents blow a small amount as well.

yeah I think it's safe to say the fans constantly blowing is whats draining your battery... sounds like your hvac controller has give up the goose... least thats where I'd start being you've lost control of your air control and fan control apparently.

Your fan relay is probably bad, try replacing the relay....
