Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Are you feeling a vibration in the steering wheel or a pulsation in the brake pedal? If the latter, then may be a warped rotor(s). Not sure if vibration, maybe CV joint or wheel bearings.

It sure can be warped rotors as 73shark stated. Would definatley point at warped rotors if you like to stop hard all the time, but if you're a casual driver take a look at what else shark said.

Do you still have warranty on the truck? Should take it to the dealer...

You stated that you feel the vibration when turning and braking...do you turn and brake simultaneously then feel the vibration?

Yes I went to the dealer already but when the mechanic spoted that my sway bar is after market they told me ohhh.. I'm sorry cannot help you because you have aftermarket parts on your truck.

For the other question Yes I do feel the vibration when I turn and brake simultaneously, this vibration usually occur when I exit from highway going downhill to this oval shape ramp while turning a wide right when I hit my brake to slowdown then I feel the vibration.

Btw thanks for the relpy...

Not a problem!

It may be part of your suspension since you turn and brake at the same time, and going downhill will have added stress on the affected part. Check the sway bar and make sure its put in correctly, or put the original sway bar back on and take it to a different Chevy dealer

I highly doubt your rotors are bad so if all fails have someone check your suspension components

Actually, GMT9XX platforms have been plagued with warped rotors. At 55K, mine suffers from it too.

Humm... thats good to know but even my 1997 Tahoe went thru 3-4 sets of rotors in 110k miles it was cheaper to replace then remove get a ride, get turned get it all back together.... thou I did hang on to a set to have turned and ready but ended up never using them...

In the old days, rotors were thick enough, and made with good materials that you could turn them. Problem today is, they're made with cheapo off-shore crap and are thin. When you turn them, you only make them thinner, and they warp again....only faster.

I just put my Jeep Liberty in the shop today for severe brake pedal and front end shaking during any kind of braking. Diagnosis...warped front rotors. I put them on myself less than 6000 miles ago and used what I thought was a quality Wagner product. It's crap out there! Maybe Brembo's....

The GMT360 & 370 are like that too. Most all of the large vehicles are like that.
The best thing to do is buy nice cross-drilled rotors and ceramic pads. It'll reduce the brake heat dramatically and make them less prone to warping.

When I went to ceramic pads the rotors did seem to last longer
