Default Help if you can... lifter/rocker question

Alright guys thanks whoever looked in here. A friend of mine has been having trouble with his 1998 gmc suburban 1500 (vortec 350). We need to know the proper spec to set the lifter/rocker adjustment nut. Any info is appreciated. My dad is helping him out right now and they're both gearheads, so the whole procedure isn't needed. just the spec. Thanks a lot guys.

With the engine in the number1firing position, adjust the exhaust valves for cylinders number1,3,4,and8 and the intake valves for cylinders number1,2,5,and7.
[ol]Turn the valve rocker arm nut counter clockwise until the valve lash is felt in the valve pushrod.
Turn the valve rocker arm nut clockwise until all the valve lash is removed. Zero valve lash can be felt by moving the valve pushrod up and down between your thumb and forefinger until there is no more up and down movement of the valve push rod.
When all the valve lash is removed, then turn the valve rocker arm nut clockwise 1additional turn (360degrees).[/ol]
