Default Help I'm a parts replacer not a mechanic

So i replaced the fuel pressure regulator on my 99 tahoe because truck was hard to start now that I've done that the motor wont start because the cylinders keep filling with fuel. I've pulled the plugs to drain the fuel 3 times already but it fills right back up when I turn it over a few times I unhooked the battery to see if it would reset. Help losing my mind. Thanks in advance for your time.

never worked on the port injection so can't help. the new fpr is in the spider I assume. sounds like the poppet valves/injectors are stuck open...would high fuel pressure cause that?

not super familiar I've only had my hands in the spider system a few times but if I remember right the pressure is what opens them, I don't remember the regulator being separate but I could be wrong. might have to do a little research
