To tell you the truth, I live in NYC and if you do alot of city driving don't expect spectacular real world gas mileage in a cts. I do a mix of city and highway driving and dont really have a heavy foot most of the time and average about 16-17 mpg From what I heard the 07 Tahoe is capable of getting 14-16.

 

well my tahoe gets about 13mpg...which is decent I guess, I just don't like the fact that it has been costing me $80 to fill up the tank. I live in southern utah, so the city driving isn'ttoo bad. really the biggest reason like I mentioned is to get out of debt. I don't necessarily want to get rid of the tahoe, but feel it's a must. I would rather prefer a smaller suv, like a Lincoln Aviator, but am not having too good of luck finding one that suits my price range.
