Default Help Please.

I have a 1995 Chevy Tahoe 4X4 that had a aftermarket alarm on it. My stepfather lost the remote and removed the alarm. The problem I am having is when i turn off the truck it keeps running till I hit the brake. Then when I release the brake the instrument cluster becomes powered and kills the battery. I found out that if I remove the 20AMP fuse for the hazzards/brake the problem stops, But if I forget to put the fuse back in the brake and turn signals don't work correctly.

Sounds like that even though the alarm was removed the wires that were tapped into were not put back to the factory specs and is still operating as if the alarm is still there.

mcaldwell89 Welcome to the forum..
Seems to me that the alarm components were not fully removed or a remote start system is still in place... Need to locate those under the dash relay(s) or the control box and remove it, this should stop the running and the lights staying on...
