Are the 2nd row seats for the 2015 Tahoe's and Suburbans interchangeable?

I would like to swap out my 2nd row bucket seats in my Suburban to a bench seat. I found a 2015 bench seat from a Tahoe and was wondering if it will fit.

I was told it can't be done due to wheel base being shorter so the bolt patterns are different from the sub to the Tahoe.
