With a P0449 engine code I am looking to buy a vapor canister vent valve. Not familiar with these things but I think its mounted in the middle of the car on its own on a frame in the center of the car. It looks like a round solenoid. Thought I would check via ACDelco site and first just put in 2003 Chevy Suburban 1500 LT 4WD as the description. It brought up both the rectangular solenoid and the round one. When I put my VIN in the ACDelco GM catalogue then brings up NO alternatives round or rectangular. When I go to my normal supplier Rock Auto it brings up both options but the round one that looks right references to the ACDelco unit...which when I put in the VIN it doesnt say it fits. Can anyone point me to another site that I can put my VIN to check. Thanks in advance for any help...its important as I am in the UK so I pay huge postal costs and returning units is not an option. The model is one that runs from 2003-2006.
