Default hey guy shock question please help

hey guys i have a 96 gmc suburban i was woundering if 2500 series shocks would fit in a 1500 if so please let me know. if not please let me know also.
i just got a eaton posi i am putting in so i want to do the hole back thanks guys

I dont think so. 1500 and 2500s dont have the same front axle set up. Especially if one is 4x4 and the other is 2wd. 1500s more than not would have front coil springs and 2500s would have leaf springs.

You can check at an auto parts store and see if they show the same shock fitting both applications.
