Default Hey ZX....

Is it possible for little quirky things to be fixed at a later date by some kind of software upgrade? Items kinda like Remote starter not running long enough, or Radio not being able to flip thru pages with the steering wheel controls.

Just thought maybe GM would be able to take your vehicle in, plug in and do a software upgrade and fix the little quirky things. I know this vehicle is heavily outfitted with computers so I thought that would be pretty cool. Either way, the designers did a hell of a job. I love this truck.

The items that you describe (and thousands of others) can be addressed in the future with simple software updates.
Virtually anything regarding the electrical/electronics on this vehicle are controlled thru instruction sets (aka: commands, aka: software) via modules linked to each other via the GMLan onboard network.

There are times I cuss at the computer stuff on these vehicles but then to know they can continually upgrade these vehicles with a simple download is pretty damn cool. Thanks for the reply.
