HI REV Suburban downshift in cruise
I pull a 2400 lb airstream trailer, so light i usually forget it is behind me but if i try to use the cruise and set it about 70 and then go up a slight hill dropping the speed only a mph or two, the cruise immediately pulls the throttle so far that it jumps quickly down to 2nd just trying to hold the speed exactly as set and in my opinion over revs the engine at about 4400 rpm, i would much rather it did just one step down to 3rd and let me lose a little speed then recover when rode flattens. Can the distance pulled on the throttle be limited so that it doesn't pull it into 2nd at 70 mph? john skalet, Denver, CO johnskalet@gmail.com
