Default HIDs for both Hi and Lo

Anyone convert both their H11 and 9005 to HIDs? Any gotchas after the install? Any info will be appreciated.

I have both low and high beam HID's. No problems. Also, my fog lights/driving lights are HID's.

Converted both HI and LO beams and went with the relay route. Only issue I have is one of the LO beams does not come on without having to turn my switch off, and then back on. Once I do that, it works fine....went back through and double-checked everything just to make sure nothing was missed.

I'm thinking the ballast could be weak?? Anyone else have anything similar?

doubt it is a power issue... ive installed without relays and have had no problem whatsoever, but relays sure are better. when you turn the car on and the automatic light kick in... do they even attempt to start? flicker? do you hear anything?

With the automatic light they all start without a problem except for one LO beam. I've tested with having both HI and LO beams on at start-up. Each time it's the one LO beam that does not start. No flickering, it just doesn't come on until I switch off the lights and then back on...then that one LO beam kicks in....strange.

After double-checking all connections (which was very time-consuming), it's a puzzler.

Mary have you tried walking the ballast to the other light to see if it the issue moves, may be a weak ballast or its not sensing the power up.

I got both sets from ebay seller nissangtrpower. Great to do business with and VERY reasonable. He's offered to replace the ballast but I want to know if it is indeed the ballast or something else. However, in2pro, seeing if problem follows the ballast is an excellent idea. I'll try that this weekend.
