Default Horn blows when starting

HELP!!! I have a 2002 tahoe that every time I try to start my tahoe the horn blows and I have to put the vehicle in neutral to strart the auto. Any ideas on what I can check!

Thanks
Ernie K

SUCCESS! I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A MECHANIC SHOP BECAUSE I HAD RUN COMPLETELY OUT OF IDEAS. THEY FOUND A SECRETLY HID ALARM THAT WAS INSTALLED BY THE PLACE WHERE I HAD ORIGINALLY BOUGHT THE VEHICLE. THEY INSTALL THEM DUE TO THE HIGH NUMBER OF THEFTS THAY HAVE OFF THEIR LOTS EVERY YEAR. THEY HAD FAILED TO TELL ME ABOUT THIS ALARM AND EVIDENTLY MY FOOT HAD HIT A SWITCH HIGH UP UNDER THE DASH. IT COST ME $36 TO FIND THIS OUT. WHICH IS MUCH LESS THAT I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO PAY. THANSK FOR ALL THE HELP AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

ERNIE

That's really weird. Can you disconnect the horn?

Starting the car and the horn shouldn't be connected in factory settings - in relation to the alarm. Do you have an aftermarket security system? You problem can lie with that.
