How to connect a European ISO 1724 connector instead of the US 7-pin blade for traile
I want to replace the trailer connector with a European one, as all trailers here use the European plugs.
These are the pinouts:
On car (7-pin round blade connector): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traile..._North_America
New connector (ISO 1724): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_st...ler_connectors
I thought it would be fairly straightforward, but the combined signals makes me a bit hesitant. I'm sure it would work somehow, but probably not perfectly. I assume there is a correct way of doing it, but I can't find it.
Any advice?
