How did you buy your Tahoe?
I purchased mine, how else. DEBT. I set up a 30yr fixed note, kind of like a mortgage loan. I think my payments are around $2.83 each month. With a fiance' that shops to much I had to set it up like a home loan. Its rough, but hopefully the Hoe lasts the 30 years i got her financed!
I didn't!!!!! GM gave it to me.
Seriously, they did... after I sued them under the NY State Lemon Law.
I had a 2004 Avalanche that leaked incredible amounts of water through the midgate in several places. One day after a nice rain, I shop-vac'd out over 6 gallons of water!!! It was just over half the capacity of my vac - that's how I knew the amount.
It took over 2 years of complaining, 68 days in the shop, 15 visits, and an engineer that was able to reproduce the problem on 4 brand spanking new 2006 Avalanches on the dealer's lot.

Yes but what you don't know is that 3 years ago, my wife and I,
owned 3 Cars and 4 motorcycles between the 2 of us.[:-]
Our Monthly Payments (with Insurance) on all the "Toys" was $3K a Month!
We ended up Refinancing in 2006 and paying off all the Creditors and returning the "Toys".
Now we just have my Tahoe Payment and my wifes 97 Trans Am payment.
Together they both total about 300.00 a month and we each own our ownMotorcycle(paid for).
**** the monthly payment on my Wife's 350Z back in 2004 was $745.00 a month.
Looking back it all seems like so much "excess". Anything over $225.00 a month payment and I **** a brick![

Got a lawyer... filed papers under NYS Lemon Law with the courts... GM offered to settle out of court. So technically I didn't win a lawsuit per se but I did file suit and the outcome was a 2007 Tahoe.
Tomato, tomahhto... Potato, potahhhto.
The Tahoe doesn't leak. That's a good thing.

Paid cash.... I know cars/trucks are not investments as these are what are called sinking assets...but I tell you one thing I feel like I made an excellent investment in peace of mind inthat my favorite all time vehicle title is in my safety deposit at thebank, and no matter what happens to the job, my vehicleis mine....so is my harley davidson road king and URAL
