Wonder if she has internet access...? IMHO, those sweet little on star reps will be calling her saying they cant get a reading from truck and direct her in for service to repair/replace the antenna....

there is nothing illegal about discconecting on star. Its your car and you can do what ever you want to it
my one is discconected too ( i'm testing blue tooth and some otherdevices on my vehicleand people from on star kept calling me andsending me e_mails about error messages that they recieved on monthly basis[/align]for those who want to disconnect your on star, no need to rip your roof antenna of or removing any fuses (most of those fuses control more then one components)[/align]on star module is located right underneath your radio. just disconnect antenna connector out of on star module, and you done[/align]

on_star module located underneath your radio.you have to take your radio out first and then locate antenna cable on your on star module and disconnect it.
if your truck is not equiped with factory rear seat entertainment system, then open the hood, on the right side you'll see fuse box. pull fuse # 45 and it should shot down your on star.
