I always like watching the 52's and the 135's land and take off at Carswell AFB Fort Worth, Texas. Now they are gone and it's a NJR Base now. The Navy is OK but I liked it better when it was SAC. If you are ever in the area wave a wing we will be watching.

We go down there every once in a while....in the vicinity of Carswell, that is....I myself haven't been down there. Ahh yes....gone are the days of SAC....those days were gone before I got it though!

Funny that you guys are talking about this, I flew the C-9B in the Navy Reserve a few years back and even though I was stationed in California our aircraft were regulars at NASJRBFW.
Kind of a let down when we’d be on short-short and all the aircraft spotters lower their cameras.

Tankerpilot,
141st ARW I presume?
You guys all transitioned into the "R"?

If you guys think the 07' Tahoe looks good then y'all have never seened the B-58 Hustler taking off with full AB at night. It looked and sounded better then a hole shot from a Z06 Corvette.
