Default How would I know if my burb use to have keyless entry? (key fob)

I have read that 1996 models had keyless entry available, but how would I know (without obviously having a key fob in hand) if my burb had it at one time? And if it did at one time, how and could I get a new key fob for it?

All I have is an ignition key. The ignition has been replaced at some point. The doors are different keys, so I have no way to unlock the doors.

actually, i believe they all came with it. ebay has the key fobs all over the place, you just have to find which one works for that burb and then program it. easy to do. follow this link, and scroll down a bit. these are listed in numerical order by year, and alphabetical by model. scroll down, you will see 1996 suburban.
