My 02 burb's front diff started humming when I changed the fluid in it. What weight gear oil can I use to lower the noise? I'm assuming the previous owner or carmax put a heavier weight in it. I don't have all the money to get it fixed. 8( Thanks.

 

What fluid did you use? The correct fluid is 75-90 synthetic

 

The owners manual didn't say synthetic. I used synthetic for the rear. I'll give it a try. Do you think that will solve the humming?
