Default I hate the seat belt

Everytime I try and look over my shoulder for traffic or do something the damn thing won't let me move. I have to try a few times before it releases. Anyone else have this or is mine broken?

Mine does that too. I barely lean foward and its locked. There isnt enough play.

I wouldn't say I hate it, but now that you mention it, I have noticed the problem.

Also just realized sometimes I'll hold the top strap out a bit, giving myself more slack.

One hand on the wheel, one hand resting in my lap holding the belt slack.

At least your retracting spring doesn't shake rattle and roll....

Mine works like that as well. Locks up when I when I floor it as well. I guess one could say it works a little to well, but I prefer it work too well than be loose especially if I crash.

There was another thread re: seatbelt lockup where ZX explained how it works and if yours is different, then take it in.
FYI: mine only locks up when I brake and lean forward at the same time. It doesn't lock up when pulled out rapidly or when extended fully then partially retracted like the other seats do for child seats.
