I have a 2007 tahoe .....with just a single disc radio ....with no rear dvd entertainment .....which navigation head unit wouldI use ??????

I would personally want the one ending in 66, it plays dvds. The 67 wont play dvds. Both units will work in your Tahoe. One (the 66) will have the option to play dvds while in park, and you could hook up a rear dvd unit. It will also play dvds the entire time with the use of the GMlockpick. The 67 has no DVD capability. I say get the 66 just for the Dvd posibilities.

Mine plays both. However it also might depend on the disk brand and the speed at which you write!

Definately the 66. The 67 seems kind of pointless unless you get it ultra cheap.

Many single CD equipped Tahoe's have the standard speaker system, make sure you have the Bose before you get a Nav unit.

I dont know if that has ever been discussed! Do you HAVE to have the Bose for the OEM Navigation units to work??

thanks alot you guys .........I found a place by my house who is selling me 15882766 for $800.00 almost new ...no scratches....but it has no antenna or navi disc .....do you guys thinkI should still get it ????

Do you have the Bose? It sounds like ZX was saying you MUST have the Bose system. I think the 800 for the 66 is a good deal. On ebay those things are hit and miss. One month they will be 1200-1500 new, the next they will be 700-1000. I think 800 is reasonable. The antenna is only about $40, the disk prices vary! Maybe he would take less, have you tried to negotiate! I can tell you that I am sure a lot of people would love to find that unit for $800.

Like Biglg and ZX said earlier. If you don't have the BOSE system then the NAV systemis useless. I don't have BOSE and looked into the NAV upgrade until I read the NAV thread.ZX's posted on the NAV thread that you must have Bose to do the upgrade...not sure why but it is a requirement. Good Luckand I hope you have BOSE before spending the $800.
