IMMEIDATE HELP REQUESTED----Trying to start from dry tank
Hey all,
Apparently the fuel gauge on my Tahoe isn't that accurate and with a little less than 1/8 of a tank I parked it nose in on an incline on Fri and couldn't start it this AM. I have put about 5 gallons in out of a hand tank but havent had any success at starting it. I can get what sound like an initial fire but it doesn't keep going. Any ideas on how I can get it started again?
Thanks

I had a similar problem with my fuel gauge.Try to pushyour Tahoeout of your driveway onto a level surface. This may allow it to start. The dealer can fix the fuel gauge with a computer update.I had it done to mine and the gauge works fine now.
yeah, flat surface didn't seem to work either....just bit it and had it towed to the dealership, will call them tomorrow and let them know what happened. But thanks for the input.
