Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Thumbs up Installed New Shocks Front & Back

Well, I have a 1997 Chevy Suburban and the rear shocks went out about a month ago. Had to wait till the ol' Pay Day came in and ordered after market heavy duty shocks. I found them on E- bay and they are from Australia. Made specifically for the rough outback terrain - Ultima Heavy Duty Tow Shocks. 3 year - 100,000 mile warranty, not to bad. During inspection I realized the previous owner was already setting up Big Blue for heavy towing with after market over sized add a leaf springs, HD pull tight tow assembly but just had regular factory shocks. Fail - So when I found the Ultima HD I figured why not finish the job already started.

Anyway, visit my profile because I'm posting the install and finished job along with the original shocks which the rears were totally wasted. I could compress them by hand. Glad to have the new ones installed- no more Boingy, boingy going down the road. My 1997 Chevy was feeling more like a 1977 Cadillac, LOL. Bad Ju, Ju. Hope you like the pics.

This weekend will be the front shocks and brake lines.
