Default Installing Aftermarket Flip Down Monitor to OEM Navigation Unit

Hi guys,
Thanks to all the helpful members and the helpful information on this forum, I was able to install the OEM Navigation with DVD Function unit in my 2007 Tahoe LS. I have one question though, I want to purchase an aftermarket flip down Monitor unit which has the video and audio jacks input for sounds and video. How would I go buy connecting these jacks to the back of the OEM Navigation unit? I noticed that the lockpick gmx550 has the video and audio output jacks, would I have to purchase this for the install? Or could I go straight to the unit? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
