Battery draining on my 2006 Tahoe
Over the past couple of weeks, I've come out to my garage in the morning and found the battery in my 2006 Tahoe dead. Seems to be random. At first thought it was the battery, so just went and replaced it. I've paid particular attention to make sure no inside lights have been left on. And the last two times, when I've plugged in the charger, I have noticed that the "park" indicator light on the dashboard has been on and that the "battery" indicator has also been on. When I put in the key turn it on and off, all of that goes off.

This could be due to a switch, relay or other electric/mechanical device, it can be difficult to determine. Have you had the vehicle inspected for this issue?

seabeckpuck Welcome to the forum...
I agree with Louis that something might be sticking or staying engaged...
Do you have a lot of keys on your key ring by chance? an excessive load of keys can cause problems....

Thanks for the replies folks. I have a service appointment on Monday to have the electrical checked.
Was hoping it was something simple as the last time I went to the dealership to get something taken care of, I wasn't overly happy with the service.
Take care and again, thanks for the responses!
