Default installing a new radio

I want to install a radio in my tahoe since when I bought it there wasn't one. Since the person that owned it before me cut off the orginal wire harness so going the easy route and plugging in a aftermarket radio isn't going to happen. I was wondering what is going to be the easy way to go with putting in a new radio.

get a diagram of the factory wiring, just match up wires. or go to wrecking yard and cut out the plug from another rig. what year is your rig?

http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/GM/PDF/460029.pdf

scroll down this pdf a little bit and there will be a breakdown of the wiring. you don't have the plugs anymore, but the power wire should be wrapped in tape from the factory seperate from the speaker wires (some power and speaker wires share the same color wire, you want to make sure you hook the right wires up) let me know if you need help.

should be. take a look at what's in your truck. all power wires should be bundled seperate from speaker wires. use a multimeter to doublecheck your wires.
