Instruction manual as PDF
Hi,
I'm looking to buy a new Tahoe 2007 with NAV. Does anyone have or know where to find the instruction manual for the NAV online as a PDF?
Like to read about all the features of the new system and if I can add XM-radio to that unit.
Regards

The Nav system has a jack on the top right corner specifically for iPOD's and it plays them under the "AUX" panel in the Nav system Audio page display. There's AM, FM, XM, CD/DVD, and AUX. I don't think you need an adapter...just the right cable from the iPOD to the Nav console.

They (it will be made by an aftermarket company and sold thru GM dealers parts network) will be introducing an iPod specific adapter next quarter that includes a dash mount cradle, it will charge the iPod and also display data from the iPod onto the factory stereo's display and offer user input controls over the iPod from the stereo and steering wheel controls.

OK...I'm confused. I'm assuming you guys are referencing the "Auxillary Input Jack" (so called by the quick guide for the audio/NAV system) when you mention the iPod input. Correct?
I have an iPod Video that I won from the Edmunds.com website and have yet to figure out how to connect it to my system. Can someone expand on how to connect my iPod to my system.
Just to confirm...I have the fully loaded LTZ with Nav/AM/FM/XM/DVD (rear entertainment system) audio/video system.
Thanks in advance for any help in connectivity of my iPod with this system.

Sure you can use the AUX input for your iPod but then you have to control it from the player itself.
With the new iPod adapter you can as told see and control the iPod with the NAV unit and steeringwheel controls.
Look here for more info: http://media.gm.com/servlet/GatewayS...74&docid=27771
Anyone that can scan their NAV manual for me?

Has anybody, like ZX, heard when the Personal Audio Link (PAL) will be available for the '07 & '08 Tahoe?
The Chevy web site has the PAL listed as an accessory, however it has "Late Availability" in parenthesis. Supposedly PAL was scheduled for release by year-end 2007. Sounds like a hot ticket, especially if you have the navigation.
Happy New Year Everybody !!
