I have a 96 Tahoe k1500 5.7 vortec that started running rough then just stopped and wont start again...
heres what has happened so far..

started running rough and coded p1345 so i ordered a new complete distributor and crankshaft sensor..

2 days later it was idling and just stopped completely, i figured either the crank or cam sensor quit completely (keep in mind parts take at least a week to get to me, im in NZ)

i replaced dizzy and crank sensor, being sure to be at tdc and aligned rotor accordingly.
still wont start, no even with engine start squirting down intake.

now it wont link with a scanner, has no fuel pressure and no spark (coil or plugs) have also replaced coil as the old one looked a bit rough.

starting to think the problem was not p1345 but may have been a sign that the ecm was dying.

any thoughts or help will be appreciated.
