Put a rebuilt l460e into my 99 Suburban a couple years ago. It had a shuddering problem at 35-45. I used Dr. Tranny shudder fix and it seemed to work for a while, but it eventually returned, and became worse. Now the converter unlocks for a noticeable amount of time in OD. It also has recently started leaking fluid at the bell housing. I suspect that the converter lockup clutches have been trashed by the shuddering. My thought was replace the tcc solenoid and the converter. But I'm worried that the pump or something else may have been damaged. Anyone have experience with this? Anyone think replacing the converter and tcc has a good chance of fixing the shudder?
