Default last thing i need is to busy another clip

Jeeze this is simple as $h*t but how do you remove the cruise control plastic clip from the little peg on the throttle lever. Driving me nuts and I don't want to bust it. All these plastic clips bring the HULK out of me when I try to undo them without breaking them.

Well thanks guys for all the help. 20 hrs later and 186 views and not one person could apparently let me in on the secret that you just had to force this a little to get it off the peg. Took a chance and luckily it popped off without breaking.

Year, make, model and engine would've probably helped. My psychic powers have been waning the last few years. It's harder for me to read minds through my computer.
