Default learcar2u

Hello all! I just joined this site today and would like to voice my concern on my 2014 suburban 1500. I do like my burb but this learcar2u absolutely is an inferior system .. I complained to my dealer about how i could not program my gate to my community and their response was that learcar2u is a high tech system designed for security. Learcar2u is the wave of the future..I have contacted learcar2u many times and learcar2u even contacted my community gate company. When my community gate company ask for more info learcar2u never sent them info on what needed to be done to get my learcar2u system to work in my 2014 suburban.. Recently, I saw a 2015 suburban with a homelink system..Question? Why go from learcar2u to homelink? If learcar2u is so high tech? BUYER BEWARE!

Welcome to the forum.

I think they went back to the Homelink system because the Lear system was a POS. Mine worked initially and then quit. They replaced it with a new one and it didn't work either. I had to buy a $10 module from Lear to put in my garage so it would talk to their unit in my Tahoe.
