I have a 06 Chevy Tahoe. I recently upgraded my brake lights to LED strobe that blink 4x then turn on solid when I step on the brake. Got the correct load resisters to prevent hyper flashing, installation went just fine. They blink when I step on the brake as expected, but also when I release the brake - not expected. Any ideas on why or how to stop the blinking when released?

Got these because someone rearended my last 01 Tahoe and it was totaled.
