LED reverse, head and fog lights question
I need a new headlight as one is burned out. I am considering getting some led's to replace the head lights, and the fog and reverse lights. I'm talking about the kind that plug into existing sockets not a whole new assemble. While doing some reading I am hearing all these issues about the cruise controll not working and remote start not working bucause the computer thinks you have the brake on due to led voltage draws? or something like that. Any issues if just doing the head lights and fog lights. Any other issues I might want to be aware of if going with led's in front? Also is this tail light issue just with assemblies or also with the plug and play kind that just replace existing bulbs? I guess the led replacement reverse light bulb is cheap enough to just swap back out if its a problem. Anything I should consider with going led? I want the look and light but dont want any issues. Also can I find these that will fit my 2011 suburban locally? like here in se mi, like wallmart, autozone, etc..... I am hoping to purchase sometime within the next few hrs. Thanks for any help
Well nevermind. I decided to just go with a whiter normal bulb but oriely's did not have the silverstar for headlights AND fog. I would to have the 4 lights match. So back off online to find a headlight buld and fog that match and are a whiter white than the stock bulbs. Tried to delete the thread but was not smart enough to figure it out. As to why I need the headlights and fogs to match even though my usage of fog lights is not very often even though my daughters name is London, is just cuz I want them to.

The LED bulbs should work fine if they are equipped with or have an additional load resistor on them. The thing you have to be careful of is to see if they're designed for projector type housings. Because if they are they don't work very well in a standard housing. Not sure why you need the headlights and fog lights to match since the usage of fog lights is like not very often unless you live in London.
