[quote]Jeff, have you had the problems with the plugs?
e, what was the issue with the plugs? Mine are on order and was just wanting to know ahead of time.
We got our first shipment in early this week and when went to install the lights, everything look good and fit well. When we fired up the lights, NADA. We thought the set we grabbed were DOA. When we took them to the bench and wired them up they worked fine so they led us to the plugs. When we looked at the plugs on the lights compared to the truck plugs we noticed that the prongs on the plugs were shorter, as in height, thanthe factory sockets. We called IPCW and they confirmed that after the first set of lights went out it was brought to their attention about the plugs not matching up. They are correcting the issueand have already addressed thisat the factory. In the mean time they are offering replacement plugs to be retro'd on any light that may have this problem. Or as in our case we just unplugged the factory harness from the truckand took a pick and closed the gap on the sockets then reinstalled the harnessand everything is fine. I asked Jeff about the plugs because he's in Cali as is IPCW and he seems to move a few more light then we do so I was checking with him to see if he has seen any with the newer plugs factory installed.
All in all I would not let this be that big of a factor in using these lights. The lights look and fit greatW we pulled a vac on my wife's lights and to my surprise them seem nice and tight. The sockets fit tight as well. When it comes to aftermarket lights there has always been a little uncomforting piece of mind when we sell them, as to how their going to perform and wether their going to leak and such. I must say that I am impressed with these lights so far. Now we'll see how I feel when they get water near them.

Sorry, They got delivered yesterday after a long trip from the west coast and unfortunately one of the lens corners is cracked. If you really need a picture I will put them on (only 2 screws anyway) to give you an idea how they will look on your graystone.

I'll have a picture for you as soon as they get delivered.

Yes, I purchased them from you. I also sent you a pm. I put them on to take some pictures of them and they work great but with the piece thats broken off the one light would get filled with water so I need it replaced.
Here is a picture of the LED's on my Graystone.. The first picture is of the cracked lens but I installed them anyway to see how they would look. Overall I think they look great on the Tahoe...

And not related to the rear is a picture of the front of my Tahoe...

Just stumbled onto another tail light option:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-...spagenameZWDVW
The funny thing is that the Ad says "USE FACTORY PLUG / BULBS" which looks like only the reverse bulb is reused. The rest of the lens appear to accommodateLEDs, but the ad doesn't say anything about LED....

Those are the imitation LED tail lights that Jeffhad on his Tahoea few months ago before he addedthose awesome custom tails. The factory bulbs shine through the LED look-a-like casing that gives the effect of LED's without the LED bulbs. Not a bad idea but kind of cheap looking if you ask me. Just my opinion.
