Default Leveling a 2008 Tahoe

Hey guys, new to the forum, I searched around and couldn't find much. I'm terrible at the whole search thing though. My gf wants me to stop tinkering with my truck and play with hers for a while. She has an 08 Tahoe 2wd. This whole 2wd thing is new to me haha I have a big lifted truck and were thinking of doing the opposite with hers. We don't want to lower it, just level the rear with the front. How much drop would I need in the rear? And is there a kit that everyone prefers to use (forum sponsor maybe)??

Also, we are thinking of putting 20 inch wheels on it, I would like the wheels to sit flush with the fenders and not stick out like a lifted truck. So if youre looking down the side of the truck everything is flush. I hope I'm being clear about what I'm talking about. Anyway, what offset would I need for that? And what's a good size to fill up the fender wells nicely, but with no rubbing?

Thanks in advance for your help guys, I'm a total newb in this department.

Blake

Welcome to the forum.

The stock 20s are 8.5" wide and have a +31mm offset.

As far as lowering rear to level, try google. There's lots of aftermarket places that have what you want.
