I'm having trouble with the OEM HU of our ride, can somebody help? it says "LOCKED" after installing it. bought this from a friend. This is a CHEVROLET SPIN OEM HEAD UNIT. How to unlock it?

I believe the OEM head units are VIN-specific and - if this was acquired from another rig- needs to be reprogrammed to unlock it.
I'd bet a dollar this is a stealership fix.. I would imagine they'll stick an hours labor on it
