2012 Suburban while driving the radio turned off and diagnostic messages started popping up and the gauges stopped working. When we stopped the and tried to get out the doors remained locked and the engine would not start. Replaced alternator and control body and vehicle still does not start

 

Check your battery, battery cables and grounds.

 

Problem was found. Short in wiring harness in back of vehicle under headliner. Wires were toasted. Will have to replace two wiring harnesses. Major job
